Renee is based in the Bass Coast but can travel to Melbourne’s South East, Mornington Peninsula and most of Gippsland.
Generally 4-6 weeks until the third trimester, fortnightly until 37 weeks and then weekly until birth.
12 hours after birth Renee will return to your home for a full wellbeing check of yourself and your baby and assist with breastfeeding if required. Beyond this, first check up visits can be agreed upon based on your needs. Potentially daily – to every third day for the first week, a two week and six week visit.
Birthing fees are $5600. This includes two registered endorsed midwives attending your birth. Antenatal and postnatal visits are 100% claimable through medicare, however travel beyond 50km will incur an additional fee.
Yes. A GP or obstetrician is able to refer to ‘My Kind of Midwife’ for pregnancy and post birth care.
